같은 날 입고된 컴퓨터 2대입니다. 컴퓨터가 느려지는 증상이 있었는데, 같은 증상이지만, 원인은 다를 수 있습니다. 하드디스크가 비정상적으로 동작되면, 컴퓨터가 느려질 수 있습니다.

Slow Computer Repair

 

This is a case where two computers that were received on June 24, 2023 came in with similar symptoms.

A fault that causes the overall system to slow down due to a bad hard disk (slowed down for bad sectors and other reasons).

Computer number one

 

​

 

1. Reception symptoms: Slow, not turned on at once, check disk running, stopped (off)

 

A computer with various failure symptoms. If you have various bad symptoms, it is often a complex problem (more than one accessory is a problem).

1) If the symptoms do not turn on at once, the power button switch connection is bad => Usually, we adjust it to be replaced by a reset switch, but we don't have a reset button, so we attached an external power button.

2) Stopping and turning off symptoms - poor full bank RAM connection

 

​

 

Symptoms of poor RAM connection on a computer with 4 memory installed. All four of the memories had poor connection, and I only inserted two of them that were recognized well and returned the other two with foil packaging. If it had been recognized normally at once, I would have connected all four, but there is a problem of poor slot connection even if it is washed and refitted. If you can refit the memory by yourself, I'll plug it in for you, but since you're only looking at role games and office work, I recommended that you plug in only two 8 gigabytes and dispose of the rest secondhand.

 

 

It is installed as a full bank with 4 different manufacturers of memory.

3) Slow - Bad Hard Disk

The boot process is very slow because of slow boot and slow boot symptoms (100% CPU, 100% HDD) and bad sector on the hard disk, so the boot process is very slow, and even after entering the desktop, the CPU and 100% HDD share are shown. => Backed up and disconnected data from the hard disk to SSD.

 

 

 

 

Hard disk and CPU utilization rises to 100%.

 

 

The broken hard disk has been re-attached to the case.

1) Reception symptoms: Windows cannot be installed and the following message appears. (2012 H61 Chipset)

SSD inspection shows slow marks (white dots) everywhere as shown below. We decided that the SSD was defective and proceeded to replace the SSD. While replacing it with a Samsung SSD, your SSD connected to my computer and proceeded with a bad sector check again.

I finished installing Windows on Samsung SSD while checking your SSD. And when you plug in your HDD and boot, the computer slows down. So, when I removed the red sata cable connected to your hard disk and replaced it with a new sata cable, the slow symptom disappeared. There are not many cases of bad cables, but it is presumed to be a symptom of CRC error due to poor cable connection. If your SATA cable is connected to my computer and the same symptoms are realized, I can assume that the SATA cable is defective, and your SATA cable is working normally on my computer.

I think there was a problem with the connection between your HDD and your SATA cable. The inspection results of the existing SSD are also normal, so we did not replace the SSD and shipped it after installing Windows on the original installed BIOSTAR 120GB SSD. We also replaced two Sata data cables and shipped them.

Both computers 1 and 2 had a problem of slowing down the Windows system due to errors related to the hard disk. Computer 1 is caused by a bad hard disk (bad sector) and computer 2 is a problem with a Satta data cable connected to the hard disk. The reasons are different, but there is a problem accessing the data on the hard disk, resulting in a delay (recision) in the processing of the data.

In the case of the H61 motherboard, it has been manufactured for more than 10 years, so it is necessary to check the problem of the H61 chipset under SATA supervision and the voltage problem of the power supply. Just in time, when replacing the Sata data cable, it is possible that (power or board) operated normally. So, old computers are difficult to check because all the components are less stable. For no reason, the computer store doesn't recommend you to buy a new computer. It's a relief if it's fixed at once, but if it's not fixed at once, it's hard for both the customer and the computer stores. If the main board is close to 10 years old and has a lot of problems, it may be a good choice to change it to a new computer.
