Windows Update 94% 96% Stopping Circles Symptoms

(July 12, 2023) Symptoms of stopping during the latest update to Windows 10 22H2 (93%, 96%, 98%)

It's a coincidence, but it's a Samsung OEM motherboard H81S1 model, and a computer that won't fall over because it takes 93%, 96%, and 98% of Windows 10 updates are in stock. I've changed all the components, but the symptoms are the same, so I replaced the same main board, so it's moving on. I had a hard time installing windows a few times and changing all the parts.

Do not turn off computers that are 93%, 96%, and 98% complete during update operations. Stop the circle

I took 69 pictures.

After replacing the motherboard of the same model, the update was completed 100% normally.

Update 100% complete, cleanup screen appears and enters desktop

It is not common for Windows to stop updating because of the motherboard.

There is a motherboard of the same model as the main board of your Samsung computer in the store

After replacing the main board, Windows 10 (22H2) was shipped after the latest window update was completed.

Mainboard cross-test in progress

The left screen is the motherboard screen to be replaced, and the right screen is the customer's motherboard screen. After reinstalling Windows 10 by connecting my CPU, RAM (memory 8500, 10600, 12800), SSD, PSU (power) to the customer's motherboard, the Windows update process 96% does not progress and the circle stops. (Amazing symptoms = I wrote this because it's a rare symptom. You don't think this is common?)

The left side is the motherboard to be replaced, and the right side is testing the update after installing Windows 10 clean on the customer's motherboard. It's not going over 96%. => Motherboard Problems

Windows Update Stopping Symptoms July 12, 2023 ~

There are a lot of people who can't update their windows as above, and there are a lot of searches for 94% and 96% of them. Symptoms may be the same but for different reasons. I hope you take it as a reference. I think the above case is a special case. The replaced Samsung OEM motherboard is also the same model as H81S1, but the replaced motherboard has been updated normally, so it is a unique case that Windows update stops due to the motherboard.

An error that even the programmer didn't expect

If the same problem occurs on computers of similar specifications after a Windows update nationwide (simultaneously), there may be = exceptional situations (errors, bugs) where the Windows developer = programmer went crazy and didn't think of them. Since the developer is not a god, it's hard to come up with a perfect update for all the parts of the computer. After the update, a lot of error reports are delivered to the developer, so it would be nice if they could patch it quickly, such as software issues (errors), but will the modified update not cause another system error? I have to test it, so I wonder if the revised update will come out soon. The patch may take longer than you think.

Back up your data if you go to your local computer repair shop even if Windows stops.

However, SSDs and HDDs that are severely defective and not recognized are data recovery points...

"Backup life" When the weekend is near, "Thursday/Friday" documents that you worked on during the week are recommended to be backed up

Users with similar specifications should share information and find the next best solution before the patch comes out. Every Thursday/Friday, you might want to back up your sensitive documents with an external hard drive, USB, or Web hard drive. (It's not easy to run, is it?) If you've saved the data on an external hard drive or a Web hard drive, you can work on another computer while you're repairing it.

Windows Update errors can result in "window corruption" or "data loss" if you force multiple reboots, so if you can't get to the desktop, you can't stop at the same time. If you don't have a bad storage device (SSD), you can boot to another computer and get a USB backup. And get windows reinstalled or repaired. If SSDs and HDDs are broken to Windows with bad sectors or device recognition problems, data may not be available at local computer stores. => You may need to obtain data recovery from a "data professional recovery provider".

complaints

If you post various articles on the Internet, they read them and give you a call to inquire.

"Let me ask you something."

Your phone number is open on your blog, so when you post something, you may call and ask questions. There are thousands of posts I've written on the Internet. There are times when I just give hints in posts or just write random posts for business at all, I saw something on the internet, and I have the same symptoms, what's the cause? How much is the repair cost? You want me to tell you how to fix it? You want me to tell you how to break it down? You may ask to do so.

Even if I know how to fix it, I won't let you know by phone. The store phone is a business phone, and it's hard to answer questions that I'm curious about personally. In the past, I used to call you without knowing anything, but it's been a long time since I stopped giving meaningless free counseling. I get a call every day asking. I can't tell if you're a customer or just asking. So, like an advertising phone call, it's hard to hang up right after hearing the first comment, and if you listen to it for a long time, you'll have to bring a computer to check it, you'll be disappointed with the electronic screen from other regions that are difficult to visit.

Go to your local computer repair shop and get "paid service". If you check the road view (street view) and visit a computer store that has been open for more than 3 years, they usually fix it well. Off-line Store = Contact or visit a vendor with signage and parts for repair.

[Note] How to find a nearby computer store that is actually open

=> First, look for signs and turn the street view (road view) back to the past.

Find your nearest offline computer store

I think it's a store that has become quite difficult to find while walking around the computer store these days. I bought a PC like before...
