(2) Occasionally, the power button is pressed, but it does not respond.

(3) When power is applied after initializing with the mainboard jumper, the CPU fan turns around for about 10 seconds and then turns off.

=> If the fan does not turn off, press the power button briefly once to turn it off

(4) Test is carried out after replacing CPUs such as Celloron 4900 and i38100

Recently, the computer used in real estate was stocked as a symptom of not turning on. As a result of the inspection, it was determined that the main board was defective. We can do AS for the mainboard, but it takes at least 5 days because we have to send and receive it by courier. (The AS center needs to handle it quickly, and it usually takes more than a week. If there is no material to replace, it may take 2 weeks to 1 month. The main board below was sent on March 29th and received on April 7th, so it took about 10 days.)

You have to start operating real estate the next day, so it's hard to replace it by sending an after-sales service. He replaced it with a new mainboard and discarded the existing one. Since the warranty period is left, I sent the warranty myself and got it replaced. 


I didn't take any pictures before I sent them, but there are pictures I took after I got them replaced. During the inspection process, I have a habit of writing the date on the new battery on the mainboard, but when I see the same battery, it seems that the mainboard has been repaired and returned.


First of all, I'm checking if the CPU pin is bent. 


I didn't tell you the process of receiving and processing the AS by phone or text, but when I received the mainboard, I was able to receive the receipt-release certificate. There was no details on which part was repaired, only the result of Repair OK was written. I wonder which part has been repaired. I checked the details of receiving the aftersales service in 2015, and they even wrote down the details then... (I don't know exactly) there must have been a change. 


Plug the CPU into the main board that has been repaired, conduct the test, and store it in the warehouse.

The funny thing is that the main board with AS is much higher than the new main board that was released, so I remember having a hard time keeping it in the box and taking it out when I needed it. If it breaks down right after receiving the AS, you can send it again, but if it breaks down later, there are times when the AS warranty expires, so it's difficult. If you save it, it'll be a shit. You have to dispose of it.

[ June 25, 2021] ECS Mainboard Replacement

A few months later, the graphics card and satar device were not recognized, so I sent AS again. I got a call from the service center saying there were no symptoms. I also run a computer repair shop, but I understand because there may be intermittent defect symptoms that you can't do it at home but you can change the location. Still, I told you that if you have a replaceable stock, it would be nice if you could replace it. Fortunately, I had some spare time, so I was able to get a replacement. I'm glad that you're replacing it with a replacement even though there are no symptoms during the inspection. If there is no replacement, I have no choice but to get it back and test it again, right? I received the replacement by courier, so I checked it right away. The product that recognizes the graphics card well and has a normal sataport has arrived.
