It doesn't usually age this much. Depending on the environment you use, there are cables that fast-corrosion on the connection. If you use a regular house on the veranda, the computer gets rusty overall. Humidity seems to have a lot to do with each other. I think I took a picture of it because it's a rare defect. In rare cases, there is a hard disk that causes communication errors (CRC error during S.M.A.R.T. recording) with the computer due to poor Sata cable. First of all, if the CRC error no longer goes up after replacing the cable and the hard disk is gone, it can be considered as a CRC error due to a faulty cable. Even if there is a CRC error count in hard disk and SSD smart records, I don't think it's necessary to replace hard disk and SSD if it doesn't continue to increase. Since the SATA data cable is not an expensive part, I think it would be good to use it for about 3 years and replace it once. Sata cables with locking devices were generally of better quality than too loose, cheap plastic connectors. But I haven't actually used a Sata cable that costs more than 10,000 won. I usually use Sata cable from the mainboard manufacturer and cheap Sata cable from 1,000 won to 2,000 won. In rare cases, there are SSDs that didn't work well with certain company-specific SATA cables. I can't think of a product that blocks the satar cable.
