​ There is a computer that has been stocked due to the symptoms of the computer turning off. It was stocked in the morning, so there are no symptoms even if you test it all day, and there are no symptoms that turn off even if you test it for half a day the next day. It is said that it was turned off frequently when using it at home, but even after running most test programs such as benchmark programs and test programs for hours, the computer did not turn off, so it has been checking for two days. If the symptoms don't come out like this, it can't be repaired.

 

 It can be repaired only by looking for a pattern of failure symptoms, but if symptoms appear after testing them all day, it is practically difficult to put one on the inspection table for several days. The cause of the failure may not be on the computer's main body. Computer peripherals, monitors, multi-tabs, power lines, or even electrical work at home may not be a problem. Testing a computer that works normally is the hardest. I'm distracted because I can't show any symptoms of failure, so I have to keep looking and watching.

This computer was stocked around 10 a.m. on January 30, 2023. On the first boot, the log from the previous abnormal shutdown is recorded, and the 6008 abnormal shutdown log is recorded at 10:51:20 on the 30th. (The picture on the right shows that there was an unexpected shutdown at 10:11:39 p.m. on the 29th.) There is no abnormal shutdown log until 11 p.m. on the day it was received.

Since it is difficult to continuously check a computer that operates normally as above, we informed that the computer will not turn off for 24 hours as above and finished the inspection. We tested and inspected for 12 hours, but we set the inspection cost of 10,000 won per hour, so we can't get 120,000 won, which is a difficult repair. It takes a lot of inspection time, but it's hard to charge the inspection fee for the time. So, I usually don't want to receive computers with intermittent symptoms in computer stores. It's a harder repair than a normal failure, but I think it's because it doesn't cost that much.

 

I always complain when I write on blogs, but if intermittent defective computer repairs don't implement the symptoms, it's very difficult to fix. Intermittent symptoms are a series of intensive attempts and waiting when symptoms occur, so it seems necessary for the computer user to change parts, test behavior, and check/repair themselves. If it is difficult to replace the parts yourself, it is necessary to change the suspected parts, use them again, and find the suspected parts together. It's the part where the person who uses the computer the most needs attention to repair.

 

Below is a symptom of my computer blinking and Whale/Chrome working while I was using it not too long time ago. It comes out once or twice a day, so I changed the suspicious accessory one by one, tried it for a day, tried another method, tried it for a day, worked on it, and I forgot it because I didn't have symptoms for more than a week, but I thought of it while writing a post. The last application was valid, so fortunately, it seems to have been fixed. Intermittent symptoms are best viewed and checked by the user himself or herself.

Below is the general usage problem repair process identified during the customer's computer inspection process above.

 

Key Symptoms = I don't think it has much to do with turning off symptoms.

 

There was a vibration in the computer's body, so I checked and found that one of the front fans' wings was broken. Disconnected the damaged fan power cord. If it shakes due to vibration during computer operation, slotted accessories such as memory and graphics cards are not good because of poor connection symptoms. It is best to replace the broken fan. Only one of the three front fans is damaged, so we unplugged the power cord and blocked it from connecting.

 

One front fan blade is damaged, so when rotating, the computer body vibrates. I pulled out the power cord and blocked it with stickers.

 

The wings of the case pan are not properly finished, so the tips of the wings are very sharp and sharp. A thumb was stamped on the fan wing while looking for a fan with vibration.

 

You need to trim the ends, but there's a product that comes out slightly. When you put your finger in a rotating pan and stop, you can get hurt.
