1테라 하드디스크로 SSD 128GB로 인식하는 신기한 증상 (1 Tera Hard Disk Recognizes as 128GB of SSD)

"1테라 하드디스크가 장착된 노트북"인데 장치 관리자에는 SSD 128GB 장치가 뜨는 이상한 삼성 노트

 

 

장치관리자에서는 SSD MZMTD128HAFV-00000 라는 SSD가 인식이 되는데 

실제로 장착된 하드디스크는 도시바 1테라 하드디스크가 장착된 상태입니다.

This is the laptop that came in yesterday. You can check it out through Disk Manager or Explorer. 

There is no capacity for 128 SSD and only 1 tera of hard disk can be checked. 


Device Manager is showing only mini SATA SSD devices called MZMTD128HAFV-000 as shown below.

It was a visit for a simple window reinstallation, so I couldn't completely disassemble the laptop and only proceeded with window reinstallation.

The first symptom you registered was that you couldn't use the wireless Internet. I checked that the internet connection is good at our store.

Still, I installed Windows 10 Home Edition version of Windows 10 20H2 version because you wanted to reformat and reinstall Windows. 


 

Device Manager says MZMTD128HAFV-000 (mini-santa SSD) I don't think it's the size for this laptop... 


 

Drive C has a hard disk capacity of 1 tera, and even if you check the storage device built into your laptop on the Hardware tab, you'll see only 1 virtual CD-ROM device and 1 Samsung SSD. Toshiba 1 Tera Hard Disk Device is normal when it comes up, but it's interesting.

Below is the process of rebooting the device after booting to the PE window. 

The capacity of the C drive is 916GB, and the hardware device is also Toshiba 1tera. 


 

Although CRC error occurred once, I skipped it because it was a small number that could not be called a defect. 

Maybe there was a simple communication error and the number went up?)

After the Windows 10 reinstallation, the MZMTD128HAFV-000 model name for this device no longer appears in Device Manager, and the Toshiba MQ01ABD100 model appears normally. The best way to check is to dismantle the laptop and actually check the installed hardware. But this laptop doesn't have to be ripped off to check the internal structure, so I've checked it up to here and finished reinstalling the windows.

This laptop was used in a deep-sea fishing boat. It was a laptop with a problem with the keyboard not being pressed well. (I feel like I would have spilled something on the keyboard rather than salt corrosion in the air.) The reason why you couldn't access the wireless Internet at first is because you couldn't access the key on your keyboard, so it's highly likely that you got the password wrong. The wireless in our store was easy to use and I checked if the password was pressed well, so there must have been no problem with wireless internet access. Because a laptop has no CPU performance and no SSD, it's a laptop that's slow to use and requires patience. Since the keyboard is defective, it would be better to use an external USB keyboard. You can use it a little bit more by repairing the keyboard + replacing the SSD, but it doesn't seem good to pay a lot of repair costs for the laptops used on the beach without improving the CPU performance of those laptops. If you use it until the screen comes out and it breaks, I think it would be better to spend the money for a new purchase.
