This is an LG laptop that came out this time between 2013 and 2014. This is the laptop I used at Dongtan Daycare Center. You brought 3 laptops with similar specifications. The laptop is too slow, so I'm trying to open it because you asked me if it can be repaired before discarding it. They asked me to recycle 3 components so that I can use only 1 laptop, so I disassembled the SSD from the screenless laptop, and put only the normal parts such as memory, keyboard, and battery into one LG laptop. Below is one of the LG laptops. I've never cleaned up after purchasing, so there's a lot of dust piled up. After the parts recycling upgrade, cleaning was carried out as well. 


Is it a sponge model? It looks like a dust sponge because there's a lot of dust piled up. I used an air compressor to shake it off outdoors. "Laptops rarely do that, but sometimes, when you take a graphics card apart, some customers blow dust "in-house" from the top of a decomposed graphics card or CPU cooler. If you blow up the dust indoors, it's a place I repair, and it's roughly impossible. So, these days, I'm drying it before it blows. I said I'd shake it off outside. Anyway, personally, it's a shocking scene, so I remember a lot.'


I caught it from a different angle, and it's definitely dust. The dust clung together and spread out like a carpet. Since the air inside the laptop is not circulating, I think it would have been difficult to use because the slower laptop was slower. If it's a laptop in a place where a lot of dust can accumulate, wouldn't it be better to dust off about once a year? If you go to Daiso, you can buy dust remover can air. I think it will blow out the air without pushing in while holding the fan with a toothpick so that it doesn't rotate. Instead of spraying through the exhaust vent, I think you'll spray through the inlet. If the can is bent above 45 degrees Celsius, liquid fill is discharged instead of air, so it would not be good for the device if you hold it too low or spray it upside down. We recommend that you use it at an angle where only can air is discharged.


The cooler of the laptop is AB06805HX090B00. Each laptop has a different cooler shape, so it's not easy to buy the same cooler, so it's hard to replace it.

Clean up the heat shield of the hardened thermal copper. 


Wipe off the thermal copper on top of the CPU. I can see a board on the left that can fit GPU and GPU memory. This model uses Intel built-in graphics cards integrated into the CPU. 


Re-apply thermal grease, thermal compound, thermal conduction liquid, etc. and re-assemble the CPU heat shield. 


The CPU can be changed to a socket type, so if there is a CPU with a higher specification, it can be replaced. It has a disadvantage that it is difficult to get a compatible CPUs like coolers. Because it's expensive without buying it yourself, laptop CPU upgrades are usually rare. So, I barely have a laptop CPU. There are only a limited number of CPU replaceable models. (Most laptops that come out these days are soldered on the main board, making it difficult to upgrade them.)


Cover CPU heat shield after re-applying thermal copper. Tighten the screws diagonally. It didn't tighten at once, but it tightened diagonally. 


We removed the existing hard disk and replaced the SSD mounted on the Samsung laptop. I removed the memory from the LG laptop and installed it additionally, but I don't think I left that picture. There are 2 memory slots, so we upgraded to 8 giga by plugging in 2 memory 4 giga.
