번개 친 다음날부터 컴퓨터가 켜지질 않아서 방문한 손님 컴퓨터입니다. 다행히 파워서플라이만 고장났네요. 파워교체 후 출고했습니다.

In Dongtan apartments, most of them have nothing wrong with thunder and lightning. In the case of poorly grounded houses, containers, and on-site offices, there may be power problems with computers and home appliances the day after the lightning strikes. (I don't remember being struck by lightning in an apartment while repairing a computer in Dongtan.))


Folding/Stretching.
A few days ago, there was lightning on a rainy day.

On the evening of May 30, 2021, it rained a lot and there was a lot of thunder and lightning. It is said that the computer of the customer living in the house does not turn on the day after the lightning strikes. They received it in the store and conducted a power-related test. (Since the water cooler is installed, the water cooler must be disconnected to remove the CPU auxiliary power pin.) Using a small case, it is not easy for the water cooler to press the CPU auxiliary power cable and assemble it. The water cooler collides with the small case a lot, so I think the wide case is good to install the water cooler.)

The main board is pressed on the water cooler, so PS2 port and two USB 2.0 ports are drooping down. There are many USB 3.0 ports at the bottom, so unless you have to use the USB 2.0 port, there is no significant obstacle to using it. The CPU auxiliary power line is also pressed, so it cannot be considered good, but I don't think it will easily disconnect or fall out of the port. The line can be slightly broken and stressed. The water cooler was not pressed to the end and the last screw close to the main board was not fastened.


I plugged in my test power fly to check if it worked or not. When struck by lightning, not only power flies but also LAN ports and main boards often fail, but fortunately, only power flies are broken.


All the existing cables were released and the work was almost done as if they were newly. Previously, you selected with wire-twist straps. The twist tie is easy to manage, but the inside of the twist tie is a wire, so I think it would be better to fix it with a plastic cable tie, which is a nonconductor. (Of course, if the cable tie is a defective product, or after a long time, the plastic may weaken and rustle, but if you use a cable tie with a maker and don't receive direct sunlight (ultraviolet rays), it seems to be worn out so easily that the connector doesn't break. Even places that are too dry affect cable ties. Click on the initial defect related to the cable tie) 


The red and black cable is a device that can be plugged into the Sata power connector, and it's a fascinating device that I've never seen before. When reassembling, the assembly was carried out without thinking, but when I checked the picture later, it looked like a fan power line for the heat sink of the M.2 SSD. I wonder if I had to make it like this. If you make it with 3 pins and 4 pins using the existing standard, I think the compatibility will be good. All lines will be dismantled and newly selected. 


Fortunately, there are not so many things to select because you only use the M.2 SSD built into the main board without a hard disk. The back of the case has a small space, so it's a little tricky to organize the CPU auxiliary power line. There was no hole to fix in the middle, so I used an auxiliary guide that can be glued and fixed. It's hard to see because it's under the CPU auxiliary power line.

The LED is working well and we are checking that all fans are operating normally. Since then, I've been running the test program for about 30 minutes to see if there are any problems with parts such as the Internet or graphic cards. Since there are no abnormal symptoms, you can conduct actual use tests at home (such as programs and games you usually use) and check for any abnormalities. 


The replaced Powerfly is a classic II 600W product from Micronics. Since it is GTX1060 graphic, 500W rating would be enough, but the cost difference between 500W and 600W is 10,000 won, so we replaced it with 600W.
